Students at Big Valley enjoy a wide variety of experiences from academic challenges to athletic competitions. They have multiple opportunities to develop their talents and gifts in the fine arts as well as experiences in serving and contributing to the community around them. Big Valley students are encouraged to integrate spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical facets of their lives into behavior that leads to balanced, healthy, and God-honoring lifestyles.
Big Valley Christian School began as a ministry of Big Valley Grace Community Church as a Preschool program in 1974. It was the goal and dream of the leaders at that time to meet the Christian educational needs of the community while serving the North Modesto area.
Over forty-five years later, we have expanded to a comprehensive program that serves the unique needs of over 700 Preschool, Elementary, Junior High and High School students. We have a professional staff of over 100 individuals who are characterized by their commitment to Jesus Christ, the modeling of His word, and their dedication to training students both academically and spiritually.
